Ernie Deyle has over 35+ years of retail experience, both domestically and internationally, in a variety of roles in the retail space. These roles include but are not limited to; store operational management positions, back stage support positions, finance, merchandising, IT, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, risk & crisis management, and business continuity management. These retail positons are complimented by my time spent in the professional consulting services space, where I served in several leadership positions with such firms as Cap Gemini, Deloitte Accenture & Arthur Andersen.
Ernie is recognized as the industry leader in the area of shrink reduction, risk mitigation, safety, SG&A cost reduction and profit improvement strategies. During his career Ernie has chronicled measurable results and reported accolades from several industry constituents such as financial analyst groups, industry leaders, published trade articles, university studies and internal and external industry recognition awards for achievements in business transformation processes and profit improvement strategies.
Ernie has served as the COO for Merchant Analytic Services (MAS) a data analytics services firm based in Chicago, before MAS, Ernie served as the Vice President of Loss Prevention for CVS/Caremark during it’s storied financial turnaround from 2002 – 2008. During his tenure at CVS the Harvard Business Review recognized CVS/Caremark as one of the top 5 Loss Prevention Department in the world based on an international study on retail best practices in the loss prevention arena. Currently Ernie serves on the Advisory Board for the GRTB-Global Retail Theft Study in addition to being the Study’s writer and Spokesperson. He is also a Board Advisor for Lillii RNB Inc, a Products and Services company that specializes in Big Data for Retail.
